Technology’s Impact on Brain Utilization: Trojan Horse of The Tech Revolution | Computersight

Sahan's article for neuroscience .
Intriguing start to the article. A great attempt by my batch mate. Displays a lot of research, especially in Psychology and Neuroscience related to aspects of computing and technology. A little colloquial in the language at some points. I find myself strongly interested in him criticizing the modern concept of "New is always better". (But this section seemingly lacks references . I personally don't believe referencing is very scientific thing to do anyway. )
Other than a minor spelling error, I believe the content could have been more intriguing. My question for Sahan is that although its true, the idea of technology creating personalities which are "lonely, self-centered souls strongly entangled in self-contempt" (nothing new), he has not discussed the effect by social networks in this context of social interactions. The effect on "Emotional Intelligence " by social networks, I believe is a subject to be discussed separately.
Overall this is a good effort. And it is suitable as a scientific magazine article, rather than a scientific dissertation . And that's what it is.. So again good luck Sahan!

  1. well in my mention about the personality drift that social networking has greatly contributed towards... I did not want to blame the social networks alone for that situation.. I mean it is not just the social networks that causes people to choose the computer over other people. It is also the computer games, the never ending flood of films, and various other technology related aspects..

And about the style of language, its my unique way of expressing things.. and people like it that way.. The spelling problems are due to my own weak way of depending on spell checkers.. nobody is perfect guys.. apologies for that :D
